Simple Sprinkle Biscuits
INGREDIENTS:
- 300g plain flour (or substitute with Self Raising Flour)
- 2tsp baking power
- 110g caster sugar
- 125g butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- Sprinkles (or other desired toppings)
METHOD:
- Pre-heat oven to 180°C. Line a tray with baking paper
- Cream butter and sugar until they lighten up.
- Mix in the egg
- In a seperate bowl sift the flour and baking power together, then add to the wet mixture
- Mix together until well incorporated, add a little milk (1-2 tsp) if the dough is too crumbly
- Roll into small balls, dip into sprinkles then flattern slightly on the baking tray
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden. Cool on the tray for 5 minutes then place onto a cooling rack
