Bread cooks best, with a great crust and light crumb, if cooked in heavy specialty bread tins.
The heavy tins draws the heat into the centre of the loaf of bread, cooking any loaf in about 30-35 mins, and creating a lovely crisp crust. Lightweight tins can mean under-cooked loaves, with a soft unsatisfactory crust. The Farmhouse Tin makes a broader loaf than the 700gm or 600gm tins. Use 600gm Flour recipe for this tin.

Remember to purchase our cold pressed sunflower oil when buying a bread tin. You simply baste the tins as they are ready to use. Our cold pressed sunflower oil is the best oil for all your bread making needs as it is a non-viscous oil – it does not form a sticky layer on your tins – many oils should not be used on bread tins including olive oils, rice bran, grape seed.
Our tins are Made in Australia from high quality steel and exactly what professional bakers use to make their bread. They are black on the outside. Food safe.
